Woman held after boy's body found in Dublin

A woman has been arrested after the body of a three-year-old boy was found at an apartment in south Dublin.

Gardaí are treating the death as suspicious.

They were called to an apartment at Ridge Hall in Ballybrack at around 3pm.

The scene has been preserved and the State Pathologist's office has been notified.

The boy is believed to have suffered severe injuries.
