Water charges protests are taking place across the country today.
Estimates so far are 1,700 people have taken part in two marches opposing water charges.
In Cork up to 1,000 people paraded through the city highlighting their opposition to the charges.
In Ennis where 'boil water' notices have been issued in the past, around 700 people marched.
