Hundreds of schoolchildren have lined the route of a funeral for a classmate who died following a playground incident in Co Fermanagh.

Oisin McGrath, 13, was a pupil at St Michael's College in Enniskillen and was hurt while playing football during his lunch break on Monday.

His organs have been donated to save five lives.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and later bailed pending further police inquiries into what happened.

Oisin's mother Sharon and father Nigel led mourners at the service at Holywell Catholic Church in Belcoo, Co Fermanagh this morning.

Fellow pupils of the student wore GAA jerseys draped over their school uniforms.

Two floral wreaths depicted a GAA football and jersey in tribute to the promising young sportsman's talent and a GAA top was placed on top of his coffin.

The teenager played GAA football in Belcoo. His mother is secretary for the local club.

Crowds gathered outside the church to watch the Requiem Mass on a large screen.
