Appeal over missing Kilkenny woman

An appeal has been issued to trace a 52-year-old woman missing from her home in Kilkenny since yesterday.

Ann Kenny was last seen leaving her home on Freshford Road at around 12 noon.

She is described as 1.57m (5'2") in height, of medium build and with short brown hair.

It is believed she was wearing blue jeans, a green coloured top, black shoes and a long purple jacket.

Ms Kenny's family and gardaí are concerned for her welfare and anyone with information is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on 056 7775000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
