Three men from Belfast have appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was found beaten to death at his home in east Belfast on Christmas Eve.
Police said 41-year-old Matthew Goddard had suffered a sustained and brutal attack in which he was beaten with his own electric guitar and other objects.
Brothers William Robert Turner, 35, from Glenlea Avenue in Belfast and Henry Turner, 29, from Dunraven Court in Belfast were charged with Mr Goddard's murder.
Also accused of the killing was Christian Walker, 25, from Ribble Street in Belfast.
William and James Turner were also charged with causing grievous bodily harm, relating to an incident in an east Belfast bar on 23 December.
All three accused were remanded in custody.
