Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in Tullow, Co Carlow.
The man's body was found in a house on an estate in Graigeowen on the outskirts of the town this morning.
Another man in the house has been taken to St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny with serious injuries.
Gardaí received a phone call sometime after 9am reporting a violent incident at the house.
It is understood neighbours contacted emergency services.
The State Pathologist's Office has been notified and a technical examination is taking place.
Both men are being held in Carlow Garda Station, and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information on the incident to contact Tullow Garda Station on 059-9181160, the Garda Confidential line or any garda station.
