Two women, both aged in their 20s, have died in a house fire in Letterkenny, Co Donegal.
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second woman was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital in a critical condition, but has since died.
It is understood the women were sisters and were 24 and 27 years old.
A man who was in the house in Ceanann View managed to escape and raised the alarm at around 11am.
Gardaí have sealed off the house for a technical examination, although the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
