A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder following a knife attack in Co Antrim early today.
A 64-year-old man was killed and a woman, 59, was taken to hospital with stab wounds following the incident at a house in the Carnvale area of Ballymena.
Her condition is described as serious.
The young man is in custody assisting police with their inquiries.
