The funeral has taken place of former Kerry footballer and manager Páidí Ó Sé in the west Kerry village of Ventry.
The eight time All-Ireland senior football medal winner died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday aged 57.
President Michael D Higgins and Taoiseach Enda Kenny were represented by their aides-de-camp Col Brendan McAndrew and Cmmdt Michael Treacy.
Hundreds of people representing all aspects of Mr Ó Sé's life – sporting, political and social – attended the mass.
Former Kerry manager Mick O'Dwyer, footballers Mick O'Connell, Ger Power, former supreme court judge Hugh O'Flaherty and rugby great Mick Galwey were among those in attendance at the parish church in Ventry.
His coffin left the Reilig Chaitliona churchyard, having been carried out to the sound of Cor Cuil Aodha singing "Mo Ghile Mear".
Followed by his family, the hearse carrying Páidí Ó Sé's body slowly made its way out of the yard flanked by former and current Kerry and An Ghaeltacht players on its way to the nearby graveyard.
Mr Ó Sé was to be buried in the Reilig Chaitliona on the edge of the village.
He is survived by his wife, Máire, and three children Nessa, Siún and Pádraig Óg and wider family.
