Emergency services in Glasgow are dealing with a "serious incident" after a bin lorry crashed into a group of pedestrians.
The lorry crashed into the side of the Millennium Hotel, which is next to Queen Street Station.
There are reports of several casualties.
As many as six ambulances are at the scene, along with the police and fire service.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed there is an "ongoing serious incident" in George Square in the city centre.
The city centre was packed with Christmas shoppers at the time.
Roads around George Square have been closed.
