All airspace over London has been closed until 6pm due to a computer failure.
NATS, a UK-based global air traffic management company, issued a statement saying the closure is due to a technical problem at Swanwick air traffic control centre.
The statement added that "every possible action is being taken to assist in resolving the situation and to confirm the details."
