A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the hijacking of a taxi in Dublin early yesterday.
A 58-year-old taxi driver was threatened and assaulted at knife point before being forced out of his car at about 1.30am.
The incident happened in a car park at a shopping centre in Palmerstown.
The Taxi driver was not seriously injured.
A 31-year-old man was charged and released and is due to appear in court again tomorrow.
