The funerals have taken place of nine-year-old twins Thomas and Paddy O'Driscoll, and their 21-year old brother Jonathan.
The twins were found dead at their home outside Charleville in Co Cork on Thursday afternoon.
Their brother's body was found in Buttevant shortly afterwards.
It is believed Jonathan stabbed his two brothers before taking his own life.
Chief mourners at the Requiem Mass were the boys' parents Helen and Thomas, as well as a large extended family.
Fr Tom Naughton told the congregation that if these days have taught people anything at all, it is the challenge to continue and to increase efforts to understand and to assist, especially young men, to communicate the darkness that seems to be increasingly troubling young minds and hearts.
Fr Naughton said: "The twins were lovable rogues. They were fun-loving and energetic. They loved playing with their friends.
"They were very honest, direct and straight. They said it as it was. They knew how to say sorry and were famous for their hugs."
Fr Naughton said Jonathan was there when he was needed and was kind and thoughtful.
He said: "Jonathan made the whole family happy. He was there when you needed him and could pop up at any stage.
"He loved all his godchildren and never forgot their birthdays. He'd go up to Dunnes and buy little outfits as birthday presents. All three boys went hunting together."
Mr and Mrs O'Driscoll helped to carry the coffins from the Holy Cross church in Charleville. The twins will be buried in the local cemetery.
Jonathan will be buried with his grandparents in nearby Kilmallock.
