Fingal County Council has confirmed that a swimming ban that had been in place on 12 beaches in north Dublin has been lifted.
Tests carried out at locations including Balcarrick beach in Donabate, Skerries north and south beach, Velvet Strand in Portmarnock, and Burrow beach have shown water quality is now safe.
Red flags had been in place since Tuesday, after heavy rain last weekend led to an overflow at the pump stations.
