Sunday 10 August 2014 15.45 Thousands of republicans have taken part in an anti-internment parade this afternoon through Belfast city centre.
As the parade passed through the city centre, loyalists through fireworks and plastic bottles over police lines into the parade.
Police cordons were around all side roads of the main parade route through the city centre.
Last year, over 50 PSNI officers and civilians were injured during last year's parade when loyalists clashed with police.
The parade has been organised by the Anti-Internment League to mark the start of internment in the North in August 1971.
