Saturday 26 July 2014 16.01 An investigation is being carried out after a man was found dead in a prison cell at Mountjoy Prison.
The man in his 30s was discovered collapsed in his cell at 3.30am.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem will be carried out.
