Computer Company Hewlett-Packard has said it is creating 100 jobs at its operation in Co Galway.
The positions are research and development roles in the company's cloud computing division.
The facility at Ballybrit in the city is currently under construction and is due to be completed next year.
They positions will involve assisting the company's business customers with planning, implementing and operating cloud based services.
The jobs, which will range in scope and expertise level, are supported by the government through IDA Ireland.
The announcement is coinciding with Taoiseach Enda Kenny's visit to HP's global headquarters in Palo Alto.
Hewlett-Packard currently employs approximately 4,000 people across the island of Ireland, in Leixlip, Galway, Dublin city and Belfast.
