Man injured in Wexford stabbing

A 34-year-old man has been seriously injured in a stabbing in Co Wexford.

The attack happened at a house on Grange Road in New Ross at around 9.30pm last night.

A 60-year-old man has been arrested and is being held at New Ross Garda Station.

The victim was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 051 426030, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
