Saturday 05 April 2014 16.03 Five people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of €1m.
Two men were arrested this morning in a follow up investigation after three people were arrested yesterday over the discovery of Cannabis herb, cannabis plants, cocaine and heroin .
One of the men, a 28-year-old man is due in court in Ardee this afternoon.
The man was arrested yesterday after gardaí stopped a car in the Drogheda area.
The other men, aged in their 30s and 50s, were arrested in a follow-up operation a second car was seized and an apartment was searched this morning.
