PSNI: Officers will take part in New York parade

A spokesperson for the PSNI has said its officers will take part in the St Patrick's Day Parade in New York.

It follows earlier reports that an invitation for them to attend had been rescinded.

The PSNI spokesperson said that they were aware of concerns regarding the force's participation but received no formal communication from the organisers.

Six PSNI officers will take part in the parade on Monday.
