Two men have been brought before Dublin District Court charged in connection with the death of Dale Creighton in Tallaght on New Year's Day.
Mr Creighton, 20, died in Beaumont Hospital after he was seriously assaulted by a number of individuals on the footbridge on St Dominic's Road in the early hours of New Year's Day.
25-year-old David Burke with an address at 6 Village Square, Tallaght, Dublin 24 and James O'Brien, 21, of 12 Avonbeg Drive, Tallaght were charged with violent disorder under Section 15 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Both were granted bail with conditions and will appear before the court again on 16 January.
A total of six people are before the courts in connection with the investigation.
A 23-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were charged with the assault on Thursday.
They were released on bail.
Yesterday, two more men, aged 20 and 23, appeared in court in relation to the attack.
They were also both granted bail on strict conditions and are due back in court on 16 January.
A man aged in his 20s was arrested late last night and a second man, also in his 20s, was arrested this afternoon in connection with the death. Both were arrested in the Tallaght area.
A 20-year-old man also remains in Garda custody.
