Gardaí treating Dublin death as suspicious

Gardaí are treating as suspicious the death of a man whose body was found at a senior citizens' housing complex in Dublin earlier this week.

The body of the 63-year-old man was discovered at Cambridge Court in Ringsend two days ago at 4am.

A post mortem is being carried out by State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy at the city morgue.

The man's body was discovered by a friend who visited his home.

Gardaí at Irishtown have begun an investigation.

Cambridge Court in Ringsend is a sheltered housing complex for senior citizens run by Dublin City Council.
