A 27-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Gerard Donnelly, who was burned to death in the Phoenix Park last Friday.
Mr Donnelly, who was 36 and believed to be from Tallaght in Dublin, had also suffered a fractured skull.
He was identified through dental records and DNA samples.
The accused, Ciaran Moran, originally of Rathsallagh Park in Shankill, was remanded in custody for a week.
The court heard he made no reply when charged with the murder.
He was granted free legal aid and Judge Ann Ryan recommended that he be given any necessary medical treatment after she was informed that he received it during his detention.
There was no application for bail and Mr Moran was remanded in custody to appear again at Clover Hill District Court next week
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old girl has been arrested in connection with the murder near the Wellington Monument in the park.
She was arrested late last night and is being held at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
A second man, a 20-year-old arrested yesterday, is also being questioned about the murder at Finglas Garda Station.
