Double murder inquiry after Belfast house deaths

A double murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of the bodies of two people in a house in Belfast.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland has said that it is looking for one person in connection with the killings.

Members of the public alerted police who went to a house at Ravenhill Court off the Ravenhill Road in south east Belfast.

The bodies of a man and a woman were found inside.

After an extensive forensic examination of the scene police say the deaths of the man and woman are being treated as a double murder.

The PSNI suspect the the incident may have been domestic- related.

Police believe the suspect may have been in a relationship with one of the victims.

Detectives said the person they are looking for in connection with the murders does not pose a threat to the wider public.
