A meeting of the ASTI Central Executive Committee to consider whether to vote again on the Haddington Road Agreement has begun at the Gresham Hotel in Dublin.
Members of the 180 member executive will decide whether another vote is merited in the wake of talks with Department of Education officials last Tuesday.
As delegates arrived they were met by around 20 union members with placards who strongly object to another vote taking place.
They say members have already rejected Haddington Road twice and nothing has changed to merit another vote.
