Gardaí say they are making good progress in the investigation into the deaths of two Co Carlow boys whose bodies were found in a crashed car in Mayo on Monday.
Sanjeev Chada is still being questioned on suspicion of the murders of his sons, ten-year-old Eoghan and and five-year-old Ruairi.
Mr Chada has been detained since he was discharged from hospital yesterday afternoon.
He availed of a rest period overnight and questioning resumed this morning.
The 43-year-old must be charged or released later today.
Gardaí sealed off an area close to Ballintubber Abbey in Co Mayo as part of the efforts to piece together the final hours of the boys' lives.
A technical examination will be conducted and door-to-door inquiries have been taking place in the area.
The boys' bodies were brought home to Co Carlow last night.
They are reposing at their home in Ballinkillen this afternoon.
Funeral mass will be held at St Lazarian's Church tomorrow at 1pm.
