A murder inquiry has been launched in Northern Ireland following the death of a man in east Belfast.
Police were called to the scene after reports of a serious assault at around 1am in an alleyway off Chamberlain Street.
41-year-old Stanley McCauley was found unconscious and taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
