Gardaí have begun an investigation after a woman's body was found following a house fire in Co Cork.
The fire occurred at Pembroke Crescent, Passage West at around 1.30am.
The body of the 36-year-old woman remains at the scene and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.
